  I have returned many items back to Amazon from different UPS locations here in Amarillo and their Canyon, TX location. Majority of the time I have left the item on the counter in view of a UPS employee who sees me come in and drop off it. Also they are tied up with customers for a while. So you would think the UPS employee will scan your package in soon when they finish with the customer? Why stand
  there waiting 20 minutes for a receipt.( People here are HONEST IN AMARILLO,TX LOL) UPS 5600 Bell . Suite 105 HAS A DISHONEST EMPLOYEE THAT SAW A CHANCE STEALING A PACKAGE off the counter. I HAVE NEVER ENCOUNTERED THIS PROBLEM AT OTHER UPS LOCATIONS. So now I will have to wait for a proof of scan receipt showing I dropped a package for return. I HOPE THE THIEF AT THIS LOCATIONS ENJOYS 6FT DEFECTIVE CHARGING APPLE CORDS THAT COST $7.55. Making minimum wage is probably why your a thief.
